Depression messes with more than just my feelings—it also affects my body, making daily tasks harder. There are times when I don't even realize I'm struggling until the physical symptoms start stacking up. Curious about what Depression feels like and how to help someone you care about who's dealing with it? Check out my post here Losing My Shit: Navigating Mental Health Lows | Drifting Towards Simplicity.

1. Always Tired & Low on Energy
No matter how much I sleep, I still wake up feeling wiped out. My body feels super heavy, and even the simplest things seem impossible. Some days, just getting out of bed feels like an achievement.
2. Random Aches & Pains
My shoulders, back, and neck are always tense, like I'm carrying the world on them. I get random headaches out of nowhere, and sometimes my body just aches for no clear reason.
3. Sleep Issues
Sometimes I can't fall asleep because my mind won't stop racing, or I sleep way too much and still wake up exhausted. Insomnia, restless nights, and oversleeping really mess things up.
4. Weight Changes (Without Trying)
Depression totally throws off my eating habits. Some days, I hardly eat anything, and on others, I eat too much just to feel something. Weight gain catches me off guard when I'm just trying to get by.
5. Digestive Issues
Stress and depression really mess with my stomach. Nausea, bloating, random stomach aches—it's like my body knows something's up before I do.
