What does mindfulness mean to me?
As part of my wellness routine, I have been actively working on my daily mindfulness practices, including journaling, breathwork, and incorporating small things into my daily life to stay present and practice gratitude. to me, mindfulness is about being more present in my daily life, reducing stress, and cultivating inner peace within myself.
Here are 10 essential items to support your journey:
When it comes to journals, I'm not fancy! I prefer a simple, lined notebook over the guided and facilitated journals available. I want to be able to brain dump, switch up my journal prompts daily, and generally choose my own adventure.
I've recently introduced essential oils into my mindfulness practices. Whether it's for breathing or simply relaxing my mind, essential oils have become a staple in my toolkit (and my daughter is enjoying them too). You can purchase a diffuser, but I prefer to place a small drop directly onto my skin (on the back of my wrist, temples, or behind my ears).

I am new to breathing practices, and I have found that lying down while working on my breathing has been most effective in clearing my mind and focusing on breathing through my abdomen.
I must admit that my sleeping habits have needed improvement lately. I discovered this natural, melatonin lotion by Asutra after hearing their founder speak at a conference. I love the fresh smell of this lotion, and when I'm having trouble sleeping, I'll rub it on my shoulders, neck, and legs.

I've been working on reducing my coffee intake and incorporating herbal teas into my wellness routine. My favorites are currently chamomile for sleep, peppermint for a pick-me-up, and green tea in the morning as a replacement for coffee.
Conclusion
