7 More Mindset Shifts to Escape the Hustle and Enhance Your Well-Being

Updated: Jun 21

In my previous blog post, 7 Mindset Shifts to Escape the Hustle, I introduced 7 key shifts including the need to Rethink Success and Stop Chasing Busy. Let's jump into 7 more Mindset Shifts we can make today to improve our mental health and overall, well-being.

1. Productivity ≠ Worth

Stop tying your self-worth to how much you accomplish. You are valuable whether you check off every task or leave some undone. Measure success by presence, peace, and fulfillment, not just by your output and delivery.

2. Rest is Revolutionary

You don’t have to earn rest. You don’t have to justify slowing down. Prioritizing rest is rejecting the belief that exhaustion = success.

3. Growth Happens in Stillness

True growth isn’t about constant movement, it’s about intentional pauses, deep reflection, and making space for transformation.

4. Saying No is Saying Yes to You

Every “yes” to something draining is a “no” to yourself. Boundaries are not selfish, they are necessary. Protect your energy.

5. You Don't Have to Monetize Everything You Love

Not every passion needs a paycheck. Some joys are worth keeping untouched by productivity, simply because they matter to you and are a creative outlet.

6. Life is Happening NOW—Not Just After You "Make It"

Hustle culture convinces you fulfillment comes after success. The truth? It’s in the small, everyday moments right now the define success.

7. Choose Slowness Over Urgency

Urgency is often false. The pressure to do more, be faster, keep up is external noise. Slowness is an act of rebellion - it allows you to be intentional, present, and rooted in what actually matters.

I'm going to start small and hope that is grows! One shift at a time. What’s your first step toward simplicity? 💙
